Do you need One to One Support?
Parenting and Pregnancy can be very daunting and sometimes, it can really help to speak to people who have been or are going through the same things that you are. The Madmums Buddy Scheme has been designed to put you in touch with other Mums who have experience in specific areas of Pregnancy and Parenting. You can use this free and confidential service on a "one to one" basis away from the forums to get in touch with one of our Buddies who will then contact you personally. These areas are:
Breastfeeding
Caesarean Section
Education
Miscarriage
Post Natal Depression and Depression
Pregnancy
Single Parenting
SPD (Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction)
TTC (Trying to Conceive)
Our Buddies have all been carefully selected and each one has experience in the area that they are assigned to, and are happy to give friendly advice based on their own experience as Mums.

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
ADHD is not a new problem or condition but over the years it has been called many things. In the 1930’s it was a brain-injured child, in the 1950’s hyperactive child syndrome, in the 1960’s minimal brain dysfunction and in 1965 it changed again to hyperkinetic child syndrome. By 1975 it was being termed ADD and in 1987 it changed to the familiar name of ADHD.
