just want to say hi, i'm new to the site and have to say i love the name...madmums! i'm generally known as one sadly not so much at the mo. i'm 33 weeks +5 pregnant with my second child and have endured a taxing pregnancy culminating in trying to cope with spd. i'm at the end of my coping skills and don't know what to do, despite the input of dr's. not that my appointment with the obs team yesterday was successful, she couldn't have been more of a cow even if she tried!ho hum, i'm sorry for downward turn in my post.

i am 34 yrs old and live in cambridge, UK and have a daughter maddie who is 6 yrs old. it would be sooo good to hear back from anyone out there in the big wide world.

Hi, welcome to the site.

I'm Rachel, mum to three boys, Ethan (almost 7), Noah (4) and Joe (3). I had mild SPD with Noah, that went undiagnosed, and bast**d SPD third time around, but was lucky in that most of the symptoms left fairly soon after I had given birth. Still left with slightly dodgy hips, but these are much better since I bought a memory foam mattress - would highly recommend these.

I've seen your other thread, and hope that you find things a little easier by at least knowing that you're not alone with this. It really is the most awful thing, and there are a lot of us about who completely understand this. Rant away any time you want. You haven't got too much longer to go, and I'm sure your daughter still sees her mad mum in there.

Hugs, Rachel xxx
