Hi back, I'm new as well.  This is an awsome site and I'm still trying to learn.  I hope I'm certainly in the correct forum to say 'hi.  I am 50 years old, 3 kids.  Going thru my own issues.   I'm curious to know if there are any other (I know there has to be) 50yr old Moms out there with teens.  Sometimes I feel as if I'm stuck, like they say the sandwich generation.  Looking at caring my my Mom possibly and still dealing with my own childrens issues.  Right now I'm feeling good, talk about mood swings.  God knows I can have several in a day just by talking to my kids.... and listening to their issues.  I am so glad I'm not a teen today, talk about stressors.

Today is Friday.. here comes the weekends

Hi welcome to Madmums.  I am 37yrs old and have 2 teenage daughters and 1 son, my daughters are 18 and 14 and my son is nearly 2yrs old.  I totally agree with you about not wanting to be a teenager now adays the things my daughters say and have to struggle with I don't relish.  I don't have to care for my Mum yet but I do have 2 elderly grandparents that I try to keep in touch with and care for, they live a distance away from me which can make it difficult.

Nice to meet you and I hope you enjoy the site.
