Once again ladies... thanks ever soooo much!

I'm trying not to get too disheartened with the uptake yet as I've only just sent it on to the pelvic partnership and the delphi forum for spd/pelvic pain.. here's hoping..

I had a look at some of the other petitions on there (how on earth they got through the vetting process beats me - it took over a week for ours to be ok'd) and there is one for "Allowing elephants to be kept as pets and sold in pet shops" - now I'm all for 'free' speach but it kinda knocks you bit when a petition as ridiculous as that (and you should see some of the comments on it...) gets over 500 signatures whereas as condition that's putting unsuspencting mums into wheelchairs, possible for life only has a dozen????? where is the justice?

Sorry folks, I'm having a really bad day and typing this in tears as I've tried to tidy the house (It's an absolute pigsty and I can't take it anymore) and I'm now is sheer agony (and thats me with my morphine patches, dihydrocodiene & co-sodol in my system..)

I asked my 6 year old when she cam home from school to tidy away her mess and she promptly told me that "I'm not your slave.. all you want me to do is tidy, tidy, tidy gran was right you are lazy" - If I could, I'd run away... I didn't ask for this and I don't deserve to be in this much pain... you wouldn't allow an animal to suffer like this - so why are we allowed to??

SORRY!!

I've signed, as has my dh.

Huge hugs coming your way Jenny.

I hope you're feeling a little better now. I agree with Lynie, a grounding for your daughter, but I'd add a slap for her gran! How dare she call you lazy. We all have days where things get to us more than others, but you know the truth of matters, and you are not lazy at all. It must be something about being 6, my 6-year-old ds said to me the other day "It's not fair, I have to do all the jobs around here and you never do ANYTHING. I'm not your slave" just because I asked him to take his dirty cup to the kitchen! I blame a combination of too many Horrid Henry books, and a teenage attitude that seems to have kicked in already. It was amazing how much perspective he got from a week without his Gameboy, and my refusal to do anything for him for several hours. Shame the ribena's in a cupboard that he can't reach...

C'mon ladies....

Firstly, many thanks to those of you who have signed, but to those of you haven't (and there's loads!!), please, please get signing..

This condition might be something that hasn't directly affected you to date (and if so, lucky you..) but without the proper research into why it's happening, who's to say you won't be affeced at a later date?? best case cenario, you would be in absolute agony (ask anyone who's suffered it how painful it is) for weeks, if not months... worse case cenario, you could end up like me and permenantly disabled, reliant on painkillers just to survive the day, not able to work & totally dependant on wheelchairs & crutches in and out of the house...

The sooner we can find the reason why, we can then work on stopping it, or, at the very least providing adequate, informed care to those who suffer it.

Once again ladies, thanks for the platform....

Maybe we can!

My mum, brother, cousin and a few friends have signed it but I will send it round again soon. Hopefully it'll appear in the next issue of the pelvic partnership magazine and I'll pass it on to some more friends.
