Well i am truly mortified at this. This is the problem with society today they don't care how their kids grow up. Children are becoming adults well before their time and not having a childhood. I believe this child will regret not having a life as we know most things stop after we have kids. I cannot believe the mother lets her drink and smoke!

If mine fell pregnant at that age i'm affraid they won't see their 12th birthday. Surely something can be done about girls at this age falling pregnant. Also something should be done about the mother. Whats her other kids gonna grow up like?

I really feel sorry for this girl and I am afraid I blame her mother. How can a 11 year old look after a child let alone give birth. It is really frightening and what sort of life is the baby going to have. She is the same age as my son which means she could still be in her last year at primary school.

Oh Dear!

What a shame for the poor baby, it's mother still has to go through the teenage years and she'll have all the added pg hormones on top of that.

What mother in their right mind would actually say she is proud her daughter is pg and is keeping a baby when she is still a child herself.

This is appalling.

At the age of 12 i was into my drama, dance and singing. The fact her mother is proud is a very sad reflection of today's society. My parents would've killed me if I'd come home and said i was pregnant.

Unfortunately in my job, you see it all to often. Sad. Very sad.

I dont know what to say. She is a child, gawd not even a teenager not like it makes it any more right! What mother in the right mind would encourage a child to have a baby? Has the mother thought how this could effect her education. Or evn physical complications, an 11 year old might physically be able to produce a baby but it cant do the body much good. She is still growing herself what sort effect is this going to have on her long term growth?

Its only a decade since i was 11, but even then we didnt talk about sex. Even in high school it wasnt really something we all spoke about, it was only fifth year that you heard of friends that had tried it! So much has changed in so little time.

I was dreading telling my parents i was pregnant first time and I was 18/19 then, and in a long term relationship (not that it lasted much longer lol)

And the boy to, up for rape when he had consensual sex. Another child and this could ruin his whole life. Kids think their is never any consquences to their actions. She sums it up herself, it was my first time I didnt think I could get pregnant... that doesnt sound like someone with the maturity to be entering into a sexual relationship!

I know what you mean about telling your parents Chris. I was 23 and still cryed when i had to tell them i was pregnant. Luckily they laughed at me and asked what i was crying for. I mean i wasn't a child but i still made myself worry about telling them!
