i want to cook it?? then put into ice cube trays for next week

any tips please

Mmmmm, lovely butternut squash...

Right then :

  1. Peal the squash - if you have sensitive skin, I suggest you wear rubber gloves! For some reason, my hands get sore if I don't!!
  2. Cut in half down the middle, then cut so that you can remove the pips and the mushy bit where they are.
  3. Cut the rest into cubes and boil for about 15 mins or until its soft
  4. Drain and puree and away you go!!!

Ella loves butternut squash, as do I - I make it into soup!!!!

that was vicious!

i feel like ive gone 10 rounds with mike tyson!

its now bubbling away in the pan! so i WON

carrots are in the other pan-ive got apple n  sweet pot in the freezer all ready for next week!

how many ice cubes sized lumps do you give in one sitting?  and then do you do pudding too?  and if lily doesn't like what you give her, do you sack that meal altogether or give her something else?  Haven't  started Ellie on anything other than rice and rusks so far.... am scared!  lol
