My older ones don't seem to feel neglected, however they don't like helping with the housework, but thats what pocket money is for, encouraging them!
As for ironing, I don't know wat it looks like lol, i don't use it on their home clothes just the school ones!
I did find when my other 3 were small it was loads easier than now they are bigger! Or is it just that the arguments were stopped with 'because mom said' rather than 'if you don't pipe down I'm gonna kill you!' lol
Your heart grows and they all fit in, regardless of having one or 4, I love them all the same, they can all be lovely, and they can all be not so lovely as well. None of them are the same, they may have some of the same qualities, but you never know what is around the corner! There is that 'you' time, that tends to go for a while, but it's usually worth it.
The wash pile is a big con however big your heart may be! But at least if you have a decent water supply that shouldn't be a problem! It's not too much of a problem for me, there is a river nearby, with a kettle on the stove if I have to!
Whichever you decide, there are just as many cons for having only one, as there are for having more, jealousy is not something i have had to deal with
