Just wondering how many Stay At Home Mums there r on here? Do u plan 2 go back 2 work wen los older, if so wen? Ideally id like 2 spend my time with Ryan until he goes 2 nursery wen hes 3 but this depends on whether dp can support us until then. Im determined not 2 go back 2 work until Ryans at least 1 & then it would b a job where my hours would work round dps so 1 of us would b here for Ryan.

I will be a SAHM for as long as possible, preferably until Edward is at school although i may go work part time while hes at nursery.

Have discussed with DP and he says he will do his best to support us so i can do that.

I will probably study from home in that time though - I want to train as a counselor!

I have been a S.A.H.M since i had Harry i worked up until 2 wks before he was due then couldn't face going back and leaving him, i was planning to go back to work this year as H starts Nursery but along came Louis.

I want to stay at home with Louis preferbly until he goes to Nursery as i dont like the though of leaving him, i dont have to work for now as DP can support us but you never know what the future holds so im making the most of it in case things happen beyond our control.

I'm doing a home study course in Reflexology from the National home study collage it cost quite alot of money but it's boring me so would like something else to do whilst at home to aleast make a contribution lol

Any IDEAS?????

Keith is definately going to be a SAHD now for quite a while.  The news at the hospital wasn't so good today.  Basically they don't think they can do anything to repair his shoulder.  He dislocated it 24+ times whilst in the Navy and had it repaired about 8yrs ago, pinned into place to stop it popping out every five minutes.  Unfortunately the operation has now been deemed a failure as the pins are loose and the shoulder joint mobile again.

The dr's are hoping to put a camera in and have a look around in about 6mnths time (NHS waiting lists are great).  They may or may not be able to do anything to make him more comfortable after having had a look.  The long term diagnosis is that it they can't fix it and so Keith will be restricted in the sort of work he can do.  In the meantime he has to rest it.  I have suggested Cryogenics.

So role reversal is going to happen in our house.  I am sure we will adapt and I get to come home at lunch times so won't be too bad.  Ollie will be well looked after and loved.
