Dont know where to start, just know that I have to let this out otherwise Im gonna go mental!  As you know, I have just started to get over a bad flare up with my EDS - or I thought I was!  I have even gone back to work!

I have a trapped nerve in my back which is causing tremendous pain going down my right leg - its so painful that it collapses on itself and I fall over.  I have been refused different medication or an increase in pain meds as I am on everything going.  I had to have my nerve medication reduced as it was putting weight on me.  I feel like I'm speaking a different language or something!

Aaanyhoo, I went to see my physiotherapist today who offered me another course of Hydrotherapy, which does help but you only get 6 sessions at a time and a referral to the Pain Clinic for some pain management.  He is also going to go and see my consultant as he cant give me any exercises to do as I am in too much pain.

I soooo want to be able to take Lewis out in the garden and play with him  - but thats just not possible at the moment.  I wanna scream and scream loudly but no- one will hear me.  Im sure the doc thinks Im a hypocondriac - but Im not - honest - what is happening is very real!  I keep forgetting that I injure myself very easily but I also dont want to cut anything out, if you know what I mean!!

Im sorry for whinging ladies and gents - there are a lot of people a lot worse off than me, and I am trying to deal with that.  But I am only human......

Thanks for reading and listening

Sorry to hear about your pain.

Have you thought about seeing a chiropractor? I had a trapped nerve in my hip last year and I saw a chiro and it was an absolute miracle cure. I know Madz has had sucess with seeing one too.

Just a thought. Gentle hugs Mrs xxxx
