My dd is one year and I started weaning her about 3mths. ago I have discovered that latley I might have gone a bit to fast for her. just wondering if maybe I can go back to nursing her on a full time basis. What about milk supply its been gradual and for a while is there something I can take or just her nursing again should increase the supply. any thoughts or suggestions would be greatlly appreciated.

There is some evidence now that suggests that breastfed babies don't need to be weaned until 9mnths if they are exclusively breastfed. Now you have started to wean I would persevere as she really does need some solids now and to get used to new textures. What are you giving her and how many times a day? If you want to increase your milk supply then yes feeding more will increase your milk again as it runs on supply and demand. You could also try double pumping between feeds and use any milk to help you wean mixed with a rusk or baby rice. Even if you are weaning her onto solids it doesn't mean you have to stop breastfeeding her and you can continue to feed her yourself as well as give solids for as long as you want.

sorry, im still new at this so i dont have an answer but i think its great that you want to get back on the breastfeeding. I think that your lo definatly needs supplement foods or milk for the iron though because after four months of age, their need for this is increased that exclusive breastmilk doesnt have i believe. lets check it out.
