Awww little Winston has come down very suddenly with a cold, high temp, and severe nappy rash bless him.  He's been dribbling and chewing for the last 6 months, but every time I try and give him food he cries if it touches his gum, when he gets his bottle, he chews it to death.  So I am working on the assumption that maybe he has some teeth wanting to come through(although I can't feel any difference), and have dosed him up with everything he's gonna need, and hope taht he starts sleeping through again! lol

Oh Vix! What a nightmare! I remember feeling like teething was never going to end and being made to feel completely inadequate by everything my HV said about it all (so nothing new there...). According to her, if the distress is caused by teething, they should have something to show for it after a week and it's completely untrue that teething causes colds or fevers. Yeah, right...

Poor little Winston. Hope he's doing better soon, in the meantime, all hail to the Great God Medised!, love Rachel x

have you ever tried Aston and Parsons infants' powders,u can get them from boots, and most chemists,it's a herbal product traditionally used for the syptomatic relief of the pain and stomach upset associated with teething.. i just copied that off the box lol, i thought it was great stuff when adam was teething, and because it's herbal u can still use calpol ect xx

Yup I tried them with Fred!  Although they were very good I haven't been anywhere to get them yet!  However he did sleep through last night, just a shame Fred didn't want to! lol
