Sorry never seems to be enough to say but we are thinking of you at this sad time.  Lung Cancer can be very quick as it spreads so fast.  I had an aunty die from it about 7yrs ago, she was diagnosed and then a week later had died it was so quick.  Like others have said sometimes it's better for the person concerned if it's quick but it doesn't make it easier for those left behind.

Thanx again for all ur kind words

Im looking after my brother (aged 8) & sister (aged 10) 2day & really hoping they dont bring it up cause i wont know wot to say to them

Im really worried abt my auntie Catherine who was there when she died cause she's not in the best of mental health herself, but as far as i know the family are trying to make sure she always has someone there with her...

My auntie didnt have any children but she's left behind 10 brothers & sisters, my nana whos 81 & loads of nieces & nephews

Like everyone has said its best she didnt suffer too long tho

hope your day is ok with the children

you can only tell them the truth that you feel comfy with lilp

or tell them you are sad and why, or get your mum to speak to them first

hugs jo xxx
