My auntie Margaret died this morning

She was only diagnosed with lung cancer 2 months ago & started her first treatment of radiotherapy yesterday

I had a voicemail message from my mum at lunchtime asking me to call her but didnt get hold of her until 5pm by which point id guessed it was something serious but hav spent the whole day stressing incase something had happened to my brother or sister

I just didnt expect it all to go so fast, the last time i saw her was at my Nana's 80th 14 months ago

You are going to hear this a lot..but I am sorry for your loss.

Cancer is not nice, and it can be that quick im afraid.  This is going to sound awful, but at least it wasnt long and drawn out for her.

at least she didnt suffer to long, lung cancer is awful my grandad had it and suffered for 7 months til it spread to his brain.

Thanx ladies

It had already spread to her brain when she was diagnosed - she had 8 tumors that couldnt be removed, i just didnt realise how serious it was
