Hi,
it's really frightening - but sadly no longer shocking, that such foolish, ignorant bigots hold positions of influence in our society.
If you have not already been in touch with them, there are UK groups which work to support breastfeeding mums - inlcuding legal and advocasy work. I am sure they would like to hear about your experience with this wretched man and could offer some wise and experienced words of advice. (As this is the crap they deal with every day).
Even if you have already written a response, it is probbaly worth contacting one of these organisations. You could try the Breastfeeding Network as a starting point: http://www.breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk/

This has been swirling around my head since I first read your post. I had a thought that maybe you should try to bring this to the media's attention. You know how people like to fight for human rights etc. Almost every woman in the country would be behind you because even though they may not be breast feeding it doesn't mean that those that are should be made to stop. Sadly I couldn't breast feed myself but I don't find it offensive to see a baby being breast fed in public.
You should contact programmes like "This Morning". I really do think your story deserves a bigger profile.
PS. A few weeks ago I was in a full pub garden with my family and there was a baby being breast fed and I can honestly say that nobody was paying her a blind bit of attention. So there you have it.

I have copied in some local papers and this morning already but am now going to start on tv stations, national papers etc. I'm sure someone will pick up this story and run with it!
