Gotcha...knew you couldnt resist lol.

Well im back on planet steffers again, and needless to say the view is great from up here!!

I had my final lot of my second cycle (all very complicated i know) CMF chemo today.  Was supposed to get it at 11, but due to some of the girls being off sick, needless to say, the three hour wait was boring with a capital B.  However, I soon discovered that there is food for us in the fridge in the unit..so several sandwiches, jellys, yogurts...annnnd blacmonge..mmm not had that since school but was really nice lol, i was a content teddy bear.

So had my chemo, which had the usual giggly effects, and ive got my final dates for chemo..all being well...my very very LAST dose will be...drum roll...18 JULY 07 at 11am. 

So as of today the needle count is now down to 8, so at last single figures woohoo.  Everything is going really well, a slightly raised white cell count so I must have come up against a bug somewhere in the last week or so, ive felt a bit pants all week so thats where its come from, but it was well within limits for me to have the chemo and I feel fine so woohoo.

Just thought id share with the group..so you can all get a big red pen and mark it on your calendars...STEPHS LAST CHEMO..nevermind period dates, due dates, school holidays, bank holidays etc lol.

so the unit has no food left now then? lol

im glad that your feeling ok hun.

i bet you cant wait for your last chemo, ive marked it down in my calendar.

I was a tad bit peckish...and once i knew it was there...i could hear it calling me...i couldnt leave it there...cos that would be just ruuude, and the health care assistant lady kept giving me food...how could i say no.

I did like the strawberry jelly, it had a dollop of cream on the top with chocolate sprinkles, and the blacmongey stuff, was pink and had a dollop of cream on the top to...just like they used to do at school.  Erm enjoyed the peach yogurt, but really really like the ham salad sandbiches..cos they were cut into triangles and were really scrummy.

Thing is though, at the mo, my cant stop eating switch has been left to on..so once i start, i cant stop, there is no im full now feeling which is a mare...but ho hum..as long as there is jelly
