There could be a number of reasons hun.  It could be that you feel dry and it's been irritated from the sex, maybe you need to use a lubricant to help things along.  It could also be you have a mild infection down there.  That may have caused it to swell and become tender.

All I can really suggest is you go and see your GP and find out what is causing your discomfort.  It may be nothing but it's best to get checked out if it's causing you concern.

After I had Fran 14yrs ago I had a lot of problems with my scarring.  It was painful to have sex or to ware a tampon so I went to the gp who referred me to a gynae consultant.  I had a small operation under general to remove the overgrown scar tissue and repair the damage as the stitches had been too tight.  Since then I have had no problems at all.  If it's troubling you I would go to see your gp it's not pleasant having to show your bits off to everyone but it's one operation I don't regret ever having.

No your not wasting their time at all.  They are there to provide you with a service and if you are in pain or uncomfortable then you have as much right as the person sat next to you with an ingrown toenail to be there.  Emphasise how painful it is how it's affecting your sex life and any other problems it is causing you, there are things that can be done and you shouldn't have to suffer.  Good luck let us know how you get on and don't take any crap from the dr (can you tell dr's aren't popular with me at the moment?!?).

Tilly you really must get this sorted.  I didn't realise at the time how badly it was affecting my life until after I had the operation to correct it, it was such a relief.  The operation is not without pain but the pain is no where near as bad as after having given birth.  I could sit down afterwards quite comfortably.  The bruising isn't as bad as after giving birth either so going to the loo and stuff is ok.  I am so pleased I had it sorted and I hate dr's and hospitals.  Good luck and let us know how you get on.
