Woman has an abortion at 34 weeks and gets away with it!

I looked this up and it was featured in a report on a scottish hospital who aborted a 34week foetus

"In the first case, the pregnant woman had been offered a termination at 17 weeks after the foetus was diagnosed with anencephaly, a brain defect that usually causes death within a few days of birth, but had decided to continue with the pregnancy. She changed her mind at 34 weeks and underwent an abortion six weeks before she was due to give birth"

Also found this which is even more disturbing

Not sure where in the world would condone such appalling practices.

I havent read the article but know if ur lo has a 'potential' life threatening illness you can opt for an abortion right up until u give birth

Saying that if she was offered an abortion at 17 weeks she should hav done it then rather than continue with her pregnancy only to change her mind, especially when these test for abnormalities are often wrong

Having now read the 2nd article that is really horrible, never mind the father trying to play God... i cant believe a mother would go along with that

The first story is real and I am sure the women that have had these late abortions didn't take the decision lightly however shocking we find it:

http://scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com/index.cfm?id=378472005

The second story is from a pro life blog site in the USA and whilst shocking is propaganda for thier cause and there is no evidence it really happened.
