it hurt of course it does but it really isnt that bad and once you have had the baby yu forget about the pain. there are various pain reliefs available.

it is natural to feel scared when its your first i know i was terrified even when i was giving birth the mw kept telling me to push and i kept saying i cant im too scared. so if i can do it you can lol. when you get to the end of your pregnancy you will be willing your labour to come.

we are always here to chat to you about anything.

by the way im tilly, im 23 i live with my hubby in wolves and our 2 babies svannah 29 months and wentworth whos almost 9 months

take care

xxx

We'd be lying if we said it didn't hurt, but it's probably not like you're imagining. It's very difficult to describe, and it's different for everyone, and even different for the same person with different pregnancies. The way to look at it is that it really can't be that bad, cos no-one would have more than one baby otherwise would they?!

The thing is to be prepared. If your surgery offers them, go to ante-natal classes and find out about all the different pain relief that's available so that you know what you want when the time comes. It is nerve-racking hearing about people being in labour for days. I know I was terrified, but what I hadn't realised is that it isn't hours and hours of constant pain, the contractions come and go, and it's possible to be in labour for quote some time without even realising it. My labours started with just a twinge in my back, and the first time I thought I'd just slept funny, until I realised that it was coming and going. It does get bad, but there is plenty of help available if you want it. And the second you hold your baby in your arms, you forget it all anyway. Honest.

(At least until you need the loo...)

You'll be fine. Really.

I too had a section but I really wanted a natural birth.

There is loads of info on the internet about the pain relief avaliable and your midwife will explain it all to you.

We'll answer any questions you have.

How many weeks pregnant are you?

To be honest I think its different for every one.

For me...It was grand. I went 10 days over so I had to be induced. I was 8 hours in labour, which flew.

It was like I had no choice but push her out.

I did my ante-natal classes which really helped, I knew what to expect and was really good with the breathing.

It's a different kind of pain....you know that you will hold your baby in your arms and its the best incentive.

Rachel was my first, So I was very nervous too.
