OK this is turning into a soap opera now.
6 weeks ago I had an ERPC following a missed miscarriage, I'd been bleeding for 4 weeks before that and have been bleeding since. I then had an infection 2 weeks ago, and my 1st period (I believe it was my af anyway) last week - but I'm still bleeding.
So anyway, I've just been to see my GP and he wants me to have an ultrasound to see if anything has been left behind. He called the hospital, and the choices are 1) get the GP to refer me - which would take about 3 months or 2) go to casualty with a letter tomorrow!
Casualty seems a little on the extreme side as the bleeding's not that bad, its just going on a bit, but apparently its the way to do it. So I'm now trying to see if someone can have Ella, and I'll be off to be prodded and explored.
Am really mardy about this now! Am trying to be all grown up and just get on with it but am totally and utterly pissed off with the whole thing now. AGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGH!

Diz! I wish this could all be sorted for you, it must be driving you insane.
Definitely go to casualty. I know how you'll feel about going, but it is the way to be seen. You've gone through enough, and if there has been anything left in there it's better to be seen as soon as possible.
I'd have Ella in a heartbeat, pop her on a plane up to auntie Lynies.

It will end. The best thing is to have an ultrasound as some tissue can get stuck in the cervix which can cause nasty infection and the continued bleeding. Also if any placenta is left attached this can cause continued bleeding. Be prepared that you may need another D&C if they do find something as well as more antibiotics. As for going to casualty don't worry about that we pay for the NHS it's a service so use it and don't worry. Hope they sort you out once and for all this time. Arse Cow Fish is all I can say....

Aww hun i can only imagine what its like. Thing is it is best that you go tomorrow because even if the infection has cleared up now it can come back if there is something left behind. Then you will be back to square one and it will never end.
It will end hun and i hope its soon. Sending hugs to you. xxxx

Hazel, It sounds like you've deffinatley had enough of this situation now and need to put an end to it all, So go to casualty tomorrow and see whats happening.
The docs couldnt possibly let you carry on living like this for the next 3 months if the bleeding carried on surely?
I hope you find an answer to why this is happening. Love Amanda x-x-x
