I am a single aprent and I have been for 4 years. My partner made me choose at around 5 months pregnant him or the baby, and well I still have the baby lol

Joshua's dad has wanted no involement ever, although during the later stages pregnancy he claimed he wanted to be a part of it and wanted to go get a pram etc. He never did any of it and everything my son has is from me or my family. His family stay in touch but they dont see Joshua often.

I am in the process of legally removing Joshua's dad from our lives, for very good reasons. However, like many have said give your baby's dad time. Your are only 15, assuming the dad is about the same age its a terrifying situation to be in. A situation that grown men find hard to deal with, never mind a minor. Not only will there be emotional complications for him, but there is likely to be legal ones to. He has got a minor pregnant, that doesnt come without consequences.

You need to concentrate on you and the baby. He can make his own mind up about what he wants to do. Once it has all sunk in hopefully he will want to play a part in your chil's life, however big a part that it. maybe once he matures a bit he'll realise the importance of what you have together created.
