Ryan has 6oz bottles he takes the whole lot - sometimes within 30 minutes sometimes over 2-3 hours

He usually has 3oz then breakfast (rusk & fruit) then he takes the other 3oz about 1 hour later

He feeds on demand during the day so can have anything from 4-7 bottles

he has a tin of dinner around 5pm

he then sleeps roughly 11pm-11am

Hv told me it was fine for milk 2 drop once weaning but los should hav at least 600mls a day thats 21oz

Ellie is breastfed so again no clue how much milk she has but our day went like this yesterday :-

7.30am bf

11.30am bf and potato and carrot sludge - I give her a bf first and then when I can get her off without crying, I give her food and then put her back on for more milk - I don't try her with the food first because she gets upset

3.30pm bf and banana (mixed with a bit of milk to thin it out), pulled a face as if I was poisoning her and promptly puked it up

5pm 1/2 rusk which she barely ate and some water

6.30pm bf and bed

and 3 bloomin breastfeeds in the night!  agghh!!

I HATE weaning!  talk about clueless - I've never felt so unsure about anything in my life!    I just wish someone would write me instructions and I could just follow them - asked my DH today when he thought Ellie should be having breakfast too and he looked at me as if I'd asked him in spanish lol
