Hi hun, welcome to madmums. I'm a single mum to 4 lovely children, Chloe 8, Michael 7, Katie 3 and Aimee 2. I'm also expecting my 5th child in just over 7 weeks.
I've never had SPD in my pregnancy's until this time. I've felt for the people going through it but never understood how sever the pain actually is. I've had it since being 14 weeks and it's getting worse by the day as my pregnancy is coming to an end. I'm hoping it doesn't continue after the birth but I know from yourself and others it is a possibility and being such an active person it scares me.
Looking forward to seeing you around the site more and getting to know you xx

Hi Cherie - glad you've found Madmums.
I'm Kirsty - mum to Ben aged 7, and Hannah aged 2. I had SPD in both pregnancies and thought it was all behind me once they were born - but my sacroiliac joint "went" when I stood up a couple of weeks ago and I've been off work since. The chiropractor reckons it's all down to the SPD.
At least I've had a couple of years without trouble. I can't imagine what you've had to go through.
You'll make friends really quickly on here - it's a fantastic support network.

Hello, and welcome to the site.
I'm Rachel, mum to three monsters Ethan (7), Noah (almost 5) and Joseph (3). We live in Leicestershire with my hubby Mike.
I had minor SPD with my second pregnancy, then had it fairly badly with my third. However, I was lucky in that the bulk of the symptoms cleared up within a few months of Joe being born. It was bad enough that I know wothout a doubt that I could never be pregnant again!
You'll have to let us all know how you get on with your legal action - good luck with that. Look forward to chatting.
