Good luck all potty trainers and mummies of potty trainers.

The Tom Tom is in pull ups at the moment.  He'll sit on the potty for a nano second, strain, maybe fart and clap!  What a boy!

she will not go near the potty so we've gone straight to the toilet...

it isn't nearly as stressful as I imagined..thank god!

awww well done,i know a few who have much preffered to skip the potty and use the loo,i think that is an easier option personally,as when it comes to going out lo will be able to use a public loo without fuss! good luck hope it carries on getting better...xxx

Ooooooooo Greedy, check you out! Glad to hear its going well! Well done Ellie!

At the moment, I don't think Ella is ready. She did go through a stage of telling me when she'd done a poo and yesterday she told me she'd had a poo, but 9 times out of 10 she doesn't say anything and has no quarms about being wet or dirty!

I'm going to see how she's doing over the summer and when she starts to act more like she's ready, I'll try then - and will be ringing you every 10 mins for advice Greeds!

Ruth - I don't know about you but my MIL keeps going on about how DH was potty trained at 14 months and it made me feel rubbish. There are no hard rules for it, Ella is 26 months old and not ready so I'm just ignoring MIL when she tells me she should be!
