This morning Edward did his first proper wee wee in the potty!

I had a chat with him in bed and asked if he wanted to try having his weewees and poopoos in the potty soon and wear big boy knickers. He loves his pullups and feels grown up in them and is showing more and more awareness of toilet habits. He knows what a potty is for but its been a long time since he showed any interest in using it.

This morning I took off his nappy and pjs and let him run about naked whilst I got up, had a shower, etc. I kept asking if he wanted a wee and he'd sit on the potty but not do anything. Then I asked him to have one more go before I put his nappy on so he sat on it and wee'd! He was really proud and we made a big fuss and waved good bye as we flushed it away.

I'm going to buy him some proper pants this weekend and see how it goes!

lol, it's so exciting isn't it!?  not that Ellie has ever wee'd in the potty - she won't go near it!  We've gone straight to the toilet with her..

we're on day 6 now and not one accident yesterday but am thinking it must have been a fluke!  we've had a couple so far today...!

well done big man!! youl have good days and bad days madz,let him choose his own special underpants and what i did with bronze was showed her the pics of the butterflies on the ones shed chose and said if she weed in them the butterflies would get all wet i found it helped to talk in her language of you know what i mean!! lol
