I asked my hv about meat last week as I am sure I had read somewhere not to give it until 6mnths to a year old.  She said that you can give meat straight away and there is no restriction on it and it's good because it contains Iron.  I do find when I give Ols anything with a bit of meat in it it fills him up quicker and can sometimes make him a bit sicky (he is a sicky baby anyway) I suspect because it is harder for him to digest.

Hv told me fish and meat are fine and no age limit on them once you start weaning.  Like Lilp says you can buy baby food with meat and fish in from 4mnths old.
