I dont think Eds is ready for potty training yet.

Following a wee on the potty a couple of days ago I treated him to some Thomas knickers from Tesco yesterday. I've been letting him run about while I get ready in the morning with nothing on offering him the potty so I did the same this morning. Anyway he kept trying but no wee. Then he spotted his new knickers and put a pair on and another pair on his head. (I should have taken a photo is was so funny!) I kept telling him he couldnt wee in them like a nappy and showed him how to pull them down and have a wee but in the end it happened on the floor.

I dont think we are far off as he is becoming loads more aware and is keen to impress by sitting on the potty but I dont want to push him. I'll keep doing the morning thing and when we get more wees actually in the potty I'll try again.

It does sound like he is getting there tho Madz,
so your probably right not to push him any further just yet.
At least the good thing with him is that he isnt scared of the potty...
like some lo's are.
I'm sure he will be going like an old pro soon, so just keep up with the morning routine for a while longer.
Good Luck to you both.

I'd like Eds to be properly trained when my parents have him in october whilst tony and i are on our honeymoon. It doesnt really matter though, he just seems quite keen so I thought I'd give it a go.
