Firstly it was quavers - the big eat bags - I even ordered them by the box at our local shop!!  Then it was Maltesers - I got lots of buckets of those for christmas that year!! Totally went off alcohol - which isnt a bad thing, and coffee, however I did drink caffine-free coffee towards the end of my pregnancy!!
jamie was a weird one, it was smells, i couldn't get enough of lemon flash, and slightly damp flannels!
I was exactly the same with both of mine

Had to smell orange flash all the time and cleaned my kitchen about a million times a day just so I could smell it!! Weird!

Didn't have any foody cravings tho

Also had to send Dunc out to buy a face sponge one day as I really felt the need to bite into one!! Bizarre!!!

Ohhhh, I love the smell of new sponges, especially the ones for the kitchen with the green scourer bits on.

i also know a woman who would sit and eat crushed ice with raw potatoe - that sounds well odd to me but she loved it lol, and in take-a-break i read of a woman who they named the walking time bomb she ate fire lighters and sucked on rags dripping in petrol - fair play her baby survived which even amazed the doctors !!!

A jar of pickled onions! Did you not have horrendous heartburn?! Actually I'm sure my sister had a craving for anything vinegary - she used to eat beetroot and pickled onions from the jar. (don't think she ever had a full one tho!)xxx

I've never heard the 'sweet for a girl' thing before, but I'm afraid it didn't work that way with me! All three of my pregnancies I really craved joosters jelly beans. I couldn't get enough of them, and never got sick of them. Apparently there's something in the gumminess of gummy sweets that makes them quite a common craving.

I went off more things than I craved, smells particularly. If I smelt petrol, smoke, onions, toast or TCP, I just wanted to puke, it was awful.
