After a difficult weekend with Cameron and his asthma attacks, we were back at doctors again yesterday. They decided he has a chest infection now, as well as his asthma 'playing up', so he has double dose antibiotics and more steriods.

As Cameron's asthma was well under control until we moved here about four weeks ago,I'm looking round to see what could be causing this backwards step. We've just moved into delightful married quarters, and I am wondering if anyone can tell me if damp could be affecting him? There is damp in one corner of bathroom, which we noticed when we moved in (and brought to their attention), but it's getting increasingly worse. It looked like it had simply been painted over at one time rather than treated. One of the bedrooms also has a musty, damp smell.

(Did mean to ask Dr this, but forgot with everything else!) Thought maybe someone on Madmums could help?xxx

Yes damp could call it. As could allergies. For example is there more pollen about where you are now? Did the previous owners have pets?

Have you looked on the asthma UK website. They have some great leaflets you can send off for (for free or a small donation) and a parents forum. They also have lots of information.

That's it can't have you living in squalor down there move back UP HERE NOW pretty please?! We miss you lots.

Get back onto the phone again and get them out, it can't be good for anyone to live with damp patches. Did u try the goats milk?

Hope Cheeky had a better day today and had no asthma attacks!
