Wow, my life is interesting!  I was lucky to see the hv with my first 3 children, but this really is getting to me now.  The doc has decided to keep Winston on iron medication for another 3 months as a precaution.  Yes his ferritin level has improved (this is how your body stores iron), however he could take him off the medication now, and Winston's health could take a nose dive, so as a precaution he is keeping the medication going.  He will be rechecked in about 3 months again! lol  However because his leg is still noticably weaker than the other one, he is now referring him to a child development something or other!  So I will probably be going back to the hospital again sometime hopefully in the not too distant future!  So all being well in 3 months time they hopefully will either discharge him or just keep him going for yearly checks!  Well thats what I hope anyway!
