I really cant believe how many bomb attacks there has been in the news. Scotland airport incident and then the two bombs in London outside that womans club.

Who ever plotted that knew the club would be full of women that night.

Makes me feel uneasy that now there targeting women.

Luckily where I am (touch wood and fingers crossed) there has been no attacks which I know of. Im just out side of manchester. If a bomb was to go off in the town centre it wouldnt affect us because we lve a good 40mins drive from town centre.

It is scary, makes you feel unsafe where ever you go, but we have to carry on, we cant put our lives on hold because thats what they want.  Like you I'm just outside of Manchester, only a 25 minute metrolink ride so feel pretty safe here.  I'm sure it'll all settle down soon enough.

Have you noticed though, they do it at this time of year as it's likely to have catastrophic effects.  It is worrying, I remember when ds1 was 6 weeks there was an armed gunman loose in our area SWAT teams were up here (and this in the middle of nowhere).  We were absolutely oblivious to it, we took my sister home, and we were advised by the police not to return home unti the followig day!  I had no nappy bag, or milk etc with me, we ended up popping to the local hospital to see if they would help out as it was late at night on a Sunday!  I slept that night on the chair at the inlaws!  Oh what fun that was.  But as Jen has said, it's about being cautious to a point, but life still has to go on or they would win!

I think I'm safe enough away up in the Highlands, but I hope this reign of terror stops soon. It must be aawful for those of you living nearby or in the places that are being targeted.

It is terrible but it will never stop. There are thousands of ppl out there that think what they are doing is right. It just makes you sick that they are happy to kill innocent ppl.
