Hello, I'm Rachel, mum to three boys Ethan (7), Noah (nearly 5) and Joseph (3). We live in Leicestershire with my hubby, Mike.

Congratulations on your pregnancy - exciting stuff! I hope your first midwife appointment goes well. I had period type discomfort with all three of my pregnancies at the start. As said, it's just your body adjusting to being pregnant, and the uterus starting to stretch. If it actually becomes painful, rather than annoying, it might be worth a quick phone call to your mw or gp, but I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
