This is so funny and so true, i think women become completely taken over by a ttc alien when ttc because we dont act like we normally would. I have read this on another forum over the last few days someone has a way with words xxx

Yep that more or less sums me up!! I destruct them, hold them in various lights, scan them into puter and darken them lmao...erm squint, look at it from EVERY angle possible. Then i bin it and keep going back to it argh! I have been known to take 3 a day!! Always trying to tell myself i am expecting a BFN, then the line hunting kicks in and i MUST find that line!

I have even taken a piccy of a test and then inverted the colour to find a line lmao!

I still test now - a true POASer!

The BFP on my piccy over there <----- is one I inverted the colour, darkened it, then inverte back again !!!

OMG! Been there - done that.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one. Sometimes I think I am the only one who has these rituals and then another Madmum will reassure me that I am not alone out here.

I personally never pee on the stick anymore, I peed in a little cup and stuck the stick in. Once I peed on the stick got it all over my hand ran to the bathroom(we have a seperate loo with no sink) with pg stick in one hand, pee on the other and my trousers and knickers round my ankles- not a pretty sight....

I do the same thing in a cup, but only because I used strip tests lol!
