I bf'd ellie till she was 6 months and I plan to do the same with hannah who is now 3.5 months..

each to their own and all that but I personally wouldn't want to bf when they are toddling around..

I didn't think twice about bf Ben when he was 18 mths and toddling. Granted it was mostly on a night at that point and not so much out in public, but it didn't bother me. No one else said it bothered them, but if it did its their problem.

If it bothers people then they should find something else to be bothered about... We are parenting our kids in the way we believe is best and negative comments will not be heard in my opinion! Whether it be from family, friends or strangers..

My dd weaned herself after her 2nd birthday and so happen's I was pregnant with my ds . He is going to also self wean

I Bf Nicola until she was 12 months , Matthew for 18 months and Niamh
for about 18 months too. I loved it and was quite sad when I had to
give it up!
