hi,

 it also depends which pregnancy test kit you are using. some of them are very sensitive, but many will not give positive result at least a week after being late for AF. the best would be to get a blood test done, if u do not want to wait, and start taking folic acid. good luck to you.

Just to let you all know, I couldn't help myself and took a test about 30mins ago, it was positive, so I suppose i'll do another lol then go see the docs.  Fingers crossed.  I'll keep you posted. xx
