Well I've been having similar problems with CJ that Greedy has been having in that CJ won't do a poo in the potty... she always waits until she has a nappy on for nap time and bedtime.

Well CJ decided she didn't want her nap today so after 45 minutes of trying to get a very tired little girl to settle I decided to bring her downstairs with a plan to put her to bed earlier tonight. This meant that when she needed her poo suddenly she didn't have a nappy on to do it in so she had to go in the potty.

Success... she did a poo in the potty. Immediately she got up and looked at it, she then jumped up and down all excited saying... 'I did a poo, I did a poo'. So in the name of encouragement I also got very excited and gave her a lot of praise. As I walked towards the potty CJ then stopped jumping up and down and said 'Oh mummy look I did a poo... oh mummy it's so beautiful' as she bent down for a closer inspection.

OK... I was a bit stuck at this point and in the end, for encouragement purposes only I agreed with her stating how 'beautiful' her poo was. Certainly not a word I would choose but lets hope it works for future potty poos!!! LOL

rofl.....thats brilliant,not a word id thought of either but hey...they say the funniest cutest things dont they!!

so pleased,she'l prob realise its not a big deal any more and start using the potty.... good luck hope it continues xxx

It must be something in the air today, dd did a poo on the potty with out being asked either, but she didn't say it was beautiful just smelly

we went to the pub for tea-lily ran out to the table and shouted 'mine just did another big wee, and i flushed myself!'

thank god it wasnt a pooh!!! everyone in the village heard and loled
