Eds loves educational books. He like books about tractors where we can talk about them and what they do. He knows the inner workings of a combine harvester better than most adults!

He also has a Thomas book which has loads of big pictures and we play find the... so I'll say can you see a fish and he'll look for one, etc. It also does colours, shapes, etc which he loves.

He also enjoys Charlie and Lola, Chimp and Zee and most other books I get down. I am also reading him all my old ladybird books from when I was little like 3 Billy Goats Gruff and The magic porridge pot.

Oh there's a lovely wee book about a dog called "Goodnight Baxter" by Nicola Edwards.

We eventually bought it when we had to keep renewing it at the library for Alex!

If she loves dogs she'll love it.

Another favourite is "Goodnight Maisy", we know it off by heart!

I don't think Fred has a favourite!  Any books will do for him!  We have body books that we will look through for hours!  Ds1 was like it too, and Winston is getting to like the books too, however he prefers 'Bebra' books(Zebra in Tiny's language lol)!

Ella loves the Charlie and Lola books but at the moment, its Harry and the bucketful of Dinosaurs. We've got them all - tonight we read Harry and the Dinosaurs go to school!

She's well into Bob the Builder at the moment too. We've got some Bob stories but I'd like some more. The problem is that Bob books are either too long or are the board books so too short.

Tinyranosaurus is popular, but I hate that book! Sadly, she loves it....

Ben loves charlie and Lola too. We have lots of Thomas the Tasnk Engine books too. He also knows the Gruffalo and the Gruffalo's Child off by heart, and Monkey Trouble, by the same authors. I love their books too! I've just finished reading his Daggie Dogfoot and the Sheep Pig by Dick King Smith (the book that the film Babe is based on). They're great too!

Cameron loves the Mr Men books at mo, also the Gingerbread Man is a favourite, and all the ladybird books I had when I was wee. Big favourite (with me as well!) are the Slinky Malinki books by Lynley Dodd - the illustrations are great - Cameron laughs all the way through them.

xxx

Our fav at the moment is "Fix it Duck" the words and pictures are comical and we all laugh at it. It is byJez Alborough.

Another fav is Cockatoos by Quentin Blake...basically the cockatoos decide to escape and hide from the professor but the reader can spot them.
