I hope you dont mind me posting about my sons birth, its been a up and down pregnancy and hes been threatning to be born from 24 weeks into the pregnancy.. at 24 weeks i was admitted and labour was stopped, again at 28 weeks, at 32 weeks i had a consultant appointment and was given a date 25th June to have a c section.. they wanted him to get to 34 weeks at least.. anyway i arrived on the 25th june to be told there had been several emergencys and there was going to be no intensive care beds, they wanted a intensive care bed as i had my last baby at 32 weeks and he was really ill, and spent 1 month in scbu.. anyway i was sent home again but early the next day tuesday my waters finally went, i went to the adu unit to be told there was no beds on the ward for myself, so i stayed in the adu unit until 2 pm, contracting every 2 mins, I got to the ward about 3pm, saw the anesthitist straight away, things got moving quite quick, was put on the moniter again and then examined to find i was 6 cms dilated  .. at this point though everything ground to a halt  contractions stopped.Anyway i was gonna be going to theatre to have him at 4pm, but emergencys were before me..Anyway got to theatre about 7.45pm, had my spinal which wasnt that bad, laid down and everything went down hill from there, my heart was racing, i was scared.. and i could feel almost everything.. it wasnt a nice experience to go through.. it wasnt the pain i was feeling but fopund out today cos i had my tubes tied they had to fill me with air, this is what was causing the discomfort, felt like my chest was being crushed...

bailey was born 26th June at 20.11pm, weighing in at 5lbs...

  Thanks for sharing your story and so glad everything turned out fine. Hes a real cutie.
