Right then... I had a word with Ella's key worker tonight and I'm definitely going to send her, armed with lots of pants and bottom half clothing!

Hayley (her key worker) is going to make her a star chart - in a Bob the Builder styleee! - and they'll do whatever stage she's at, so if that means asking her every 10 mins, they will. So hurrah! Feel much better about it now.

Thanks all!

hiya hun, am sure ella will do just fine, indias first afternoon at nursery i decided not to put a nappy on her, just her new nickers, i also had to get the bus which takes about half an hour from my house, india has been dry ever since i also think it helps when they see other children going to the toilet or using the potty. i have recently got my son dry by doin exactly the same i just dont put nappies on him anymore (only at bedtime)

hope it works for you

take care

xx

Islas nursery was and still is fantastic.  We did majority of potty training at home, and the nursery just carried on with it..all they said was put clean pants and bottoms etc in her bag and well carry on with what you are doing.

She wouldnt use the toilet at nursery to begin with, but would use the potty next to the toilet..strange child lol.

Send her in, pack loads of clean pants...and off she goes lol.  She'll be fine..youll probably find she will use the loo more at nursery than she will at home..isla did little madam
