Right then, apologies for not being here this past few weeks, as well as having limited internet access, I also havent been too well. As you know, I am now on morphine for my leg pain. I can now only walk a couple of paces before I am in agony from my hip down to my ankle. Been back to the docs for stronger morphine patches and pills that you take at night so that I can get some sleep!

I also went to see vein man on Thursday. Was ready for him and took Kev along so that he could witness it if he started. Typically, it wasnt vein man, but his registrar, who was lovely, and doesnt want to give me an operation, instead I now have to have thigh-length stockings - very very sexy!! However, if these dont work, I will have to have the op, which Im really not wanting!!

Anyway, Im still trying my best to keep smiling and I will be here as much as I can be!! There, whinge over- ooo I feel loads better!!!

Glad you saw someone that was more helpful that the 'vein guy'!!

Hope the morphine eases the pain. And the stocking Whooooooooooooohhh Mama! Lucky Kevin . Why dont you get knee high socks? Stripy funky blue green things? I have em!

Seriously Nikki, keep us updated. Glad the consultant was reluctant to give you an operation if that's what you want. Feel better, and whinge away whenever!

oh hun im sorry you haven't been well i can kind of sypathise with you as my fil is bed bound with a terrible leg pain and i wouldnt wish that pain on anyone hope you feel abit more comfortable soon x

Nice to have you back Nikki, although I'm sorry to hear that you're still in so much pain. My m-i-l has those lovely thigh high support stockings, and the boys decorated them for her with permanent marker while we were on holiday (with her permission, I hasten to add....). They look much better now! Get a multi-pack of pens and let Lewis have fun. You're own little funky personalised masterpiece to wear every day!
