My two are 17 months apart and I won't lie and say it's been lovely because it hasn't always.  Sometimes I feel absolutely exhausted because one wants something and then the other one starts...I feel pulled in different directions at times.

However, conversely there are good points.  Both have similar interests so it's easy to entertain them together.  They'll only be a year apart at school too.  Oh, and hand-me-downs come in very handy, saving you money (if you children of the same gender, obviously).  Plus, they get invited to all the same parties so cuts down on presents and 'mum's' taxi service- lolololol.

I've always said it feels like having twins at times.  Mine are 2 and 3 years old and they're at that toddler stage of thinking they are the centre of the universe and mummy is at their beck and call.  I wouldn't mind, but with the amount of running around I do you'd thought I'd be skinny as anything but I'm not.

I have been told it does get easier with small age gap children as they get older so I hope to that thought.

Seriously though don't worry, it's gonna happen anyway so bite the bullet and deal with it as it happens.

Love Zo xxx
