It's just over 3 weeks since I gave birth to Billy and I can now officially say my SPD has completely recovered.  It did ease from the day he was born but I still suffered quite badly at night.  Now though, even that has gone and I fell like my body is vertually back to my own.

I did play a part match of rounders 2 weeks ago but though there was no pain my hip didn't work properly and I fell flat on my face, my head and body moved but my legs didn't want to cooperate, lol.

Yesterday I went to a rounders gala day where I played 3 full matches and I felt great.  I was completely pain free and even managed to get a couple of rounders for my team.  The sun was beaming and I had a great day.  Unfortunately I have the first match blues today and my thighs and arm are aching like crazy, and I have another match to play tonight.

I cant believe how fast all the symptoms have gone and I feel like I have the freedom to walk, bend and even run already.

Aww Jen thats fantastic news! (although I cannot believe you are playing rounders again already you mad women!)

Did your physio give you any exercises whilst pregnant? If so its worth keeping them up once a week or so, just to keep it at bay!

I really am chuffed for you!

As a sufferer of back and leg pain i can undertsnad how hard it is to live with, Take things slowly, so not to over do them and wishing you a continued recovery.

I was given a couple of excercises whilst pregnant and I have continued them since the birth.  My body feels completley back to it's old self and with my weight loss I feel as fit as a fiddle again.  I cant believe I'm just about getting into size 16's now, I know to some thats still big but coming from a size 30 it feels pretty amazng for me.  I know there may be times it comes back for a while, it has done a couple of nights when I thought it had gone but providing that is few and far between I can live with it.
