Travis has a sore ear at the mo.  Got it last night at 10pm and was up till 2pm, out his cot then back in then out and in till 3am.

Does anyone have any relief methods I can use to help ease his pain?

I have given him Calpol,  and a cough medicine as he has that too.  He's got waarm olive oil on cotton wool in his ear too.

David wants to take him tomorrow night, but there's no chance if he's still like this!

Rachel had an ear infection a few weeks back and she had to be put on an antibiotic, the doctor told me they usually don't clear up on their own.

What symptoms does he have? Only reason I ask is Eds has been tugging at and rubbing his right ear and saying ear hurts but its actually his top big tooth coming through on that side so I'm using all the normal teething remedies.

Have you tried a hot water botle wrapped in a towel under the sore ear when he lies down, that sometimes helps my sis when she gets earache? Ben's never suffered with ears, yet, so can't really offer anything else, sorry. Hope h feels better soon x

A decongestant helps unblock everything after a cold, but not sure how old you have to be to take it, it works well though.
