I remember doing a football summer camp when I was younger. i don't know why I did it coz I hate football, but I think it was because my sis wanted to go, so so did I. I hated every minute of it, hardly joined in and cried quite a bit. I suppose in a way I was lucky to have my twin sis going through everything at the same time as me. If I had been on my own I would've been alot less likely to try things.
Maybe Joshua was excited by the idea o the camp, but now the reality is a bit daunting. As you say he's one of the youngest, and vene an outgiong boy can go into his shel abit when faced with kids bigger than him in a strange envirnment. Hope he enjoys his trip to Anfield, I'm sure he'll love it! And I know how he feels!!!
Is it the first time he's done anything like this outside school? Are any of his school friends on the camp too? If notthen this could also be a factor.
