Does anyone know if its OK to freeze bananas once pureed?

I am gonna cook some apples and microwave some bananas (to soften them) then puree them together - do you think I could freeze them?

You can freeze them, though they will go black once pureed.

If you puree banana really finely and mix it with a bit of milk it goes like ice cream and is quite yummy as long as you don't freeze it solid.  Can also mix it with some chocolate spread.

Keith won't eat anything that remotely looks healthy like a piece of fruit, I love fruit but can't eat it when I am ill, hopefully will be able to again soon as I normally live on fruit and veg and little else.
