Off for my prolotherapy injections today. Appointment is at 1 so need to leave before 12 as hospital is hour away. I'm doing tesco shop online now as know I wont be able to walk about for a week or so.

I was dreading these a couple of weeks ago but my hips are so painful at the moment I nearly got my walking stick back out. So if there is a good time to have needles stuck in your groin I suppose now is it. I know its going to hurt like hell but I am holding out for the couple of weeks later when hopefully I can be relatively pain free for a few months. Hopefully long enough to get through wedding and honeymoon anyway.

SO wish me luck.

You must be so brave to have that done Madz, but i suppose desperation for a normal life takes over sometimes?
I hope eveything goes ok today, and you get some relief from it very soon.
Lie back and think of your wonderful wedding plans to get you through the pain.
Big Hugs

I'll be thining of you madz, I now how painful it is to even touch down there with this condition so the thought of those injections terrifies me.. (saying that, if it works i'd rather do that than this surgery!)

How many do you get? and do they numb the area at all? do you get them in the SI joints too? how many more sessions do they think you'll need? and finally, would you say it's been worth it and that it's working for you? sorry for questions but you know why....

PS. Have they ever told you just how large your gap is?
