Sorry, I was just worried that you might have thought that BFG might have had something to do with your MCs'. Because, you mentioned the BFG.
My missed-miscarrage was discovered at 13 wks.
Thinking back to the 9 wks of my pregnancy when the baby died. I didn't noticed any decrease in my milk supply, but I did noticed that I had alot more than the normal (I was sprouting out milk all over the place!) about 2 wks later? When I was 11 wks 'slient' pregnant.
I didn't understand it, I thought either my DD was drinking more or the milk had come in for the baby that had secretly died? Or like you say the milk did decreased without me realising it & maybe it was just returning. It was weird!

I guess hormones affect everybodies body differently. Whilst I was pregnant I certainly didn't produce as much milk. When I had the ERPC by the next day my milk had gone totally. 1 week later to the day it came back again. I would have thought that you would have noticed a difference after the ERPC if you were not bleeding or loosing the placenta at that time as the placenta would have still been functioning.

Thanks for your reply, it was very very interesting!
Maybe my placenta did sort of ceased functioning (sac continued to grow though) at 10 or 11 wks & thats why I was rewarded with alot of milk & the pregnant hormones were trailing off then. It's hard to say whether I felt pregnant because both my 2 previous pregnancies were the opposite from each other; 1st no sickness at all & the 2nd alot. In the MMC pregnancy, I did still felt tired most of the time & then I suddenly got very spotty at wk 13 & started to bleed & that was when the MMC was discovered.
P.S. I don't really notice how much milk I make, because my DD is always lapping it all up anyway!
Thank you for all your replies & views on 'Tandem bfg'. I was thrilled to know that there are other mums having considered it & had known somebody else having done it. So, I am not alone & I am ok.
(Apologies for straying off the subject a bit at the end!)

Hi there!
That's perfectly ok, everyone's got their own personal BFG age limit.
Your friend certainly did very well, it must've be hard going to BF twins, because they'll want about the same amount & to be fed at the same time! As oppose to BFG a toddler & a baby, a toddler will want the odd short suck here & there! It won't effect everything very much.
My own personal maxium age limit for BFG is two yrs. It doesn't bother me how many I feed, as long as they are under two yrs.
