DH was channel-surfin last night - as men do!, and instead of the usual Location, Location, Location on channel 4, Supernanny was on - much to his disgust!

Aaaanyhoo,  mins into it, DH was totally enthralled and was mentally taking notes!!  He said he cant wait til next week!!!  Im very very suprised as he usually shies away from anything to do with parenting instead saying that his method of parenting works!!  Just goes to show doesnt it?

I watched 'Supernanny' last night. It was about a lovely couple who's got 2 set of twins aged 2 & 5.

Ok, they were still on bottles, the 5 yr olds were still in nappies & the 2 yrs were still on pureed food.

But what I couldn't understand when the couple decided to have a family weekend break together to prove everything. Is that they DIDN'T PACK & PREPARE everything the night before! And, the mother DIDN'T get her hair cut the day before yesterday!!

I dont watch it with DP. We argue about it. Its daft as with eds we parent well as a unit but when we watch others we cant agree. If he's away I watch it but it isnt worth the grief when its on.

I like watching suppernappy.

I really enjoyed the series when she went to America.  I've nicked a couple of her ideas as they work for us, not all her suggestions suit everyone thats why i like it.

I didnt watch last nights but i can guess how stressful and hetic it must be with two lots of twins, i expect that getting her hair cut before a small break was the last on her mind.
