I stress over the smallest things, I really need to learn to calm down.

Rachel is hitting the terrible two's and TBH I think I have no choice really but to ride them out.

I really want to learn to calm down especially since we want to have another baby.....and we really do.

We had a big chat last night and every thing is out in the open.

We have been talking about have another baby for the last 6 months so I need to learn methods to calm down.

Hi hun

Izzy's right, as long as there in a safe place (either floor or bed) somewhere they can't fall and hurt themselves then just walk out and say something like i don't want to talk to you till you have your happy face on.

You could do this or try placing her in the hall way and saying the above phrase then pushing the door too (fit door stoppers to stop her/him (sorry i can't remember) from slamming them and hurting themselves.

Hope this helps.

Tsena

Thanks Girls.....TBH I had a really good chat with dh and a big Cry (snot and everything, lol) and I feel loads better.

I am going back to basics, When I was first diagnosed with PND the gp told me to give up coffee, take up a Yoga class, take rescue remedy and herbal tea and a bubble bath with essential oils.

Here goes, wish me luck.

I was exactly like you when I had ds1 and ds2, every little thing I'd flip.  I wish you loads of luck hun.  I know this is gonna sound weird, but do you get out much?  I only ask, cos I have found this time round that even popping down the track and back again is enough to get it out of my system, and the 2 lo's are usually alot better behaved as well especially having Fred let off some steam!

We don't get out at all and if we do its with Rachel. I know ... I know I should have my back-side kicked.

Have you thought about Tai-chi ? It's a bit of an odd one but I did it while I was pregnant with my 3rd and when the class was finished, I was so relaxed I didn't want to move, lol.

I know exactly what you are going through honey, I used to take the out day's hicups on my DH.

I found sitting down & arranging some 'me time' with my DH helps. I got two hours on every Saturday to myself. My DH has the LOs & he's sticking to it, because he know I am a happier, better person for it.

I could do anything I wanted! I treated myself to swimming, having a cup of tea in a lovely cafe & having a nice stroll by the lake; anything really, that takes your fancy.

Don't worry too much about it, what's you are going through is very common. Don't feel bad about it.
