aww hun a difficult one but your choice, my dad is a taxi driver and has loads of school runs i know he had to be police checked etc and all the children he takes love him, if i was in your shoes i would ask to meet the driver face to face as i know my dad has the same jobs day in day out (school runs anyway) so meeting them and having a chat may put you more at ease - goodluck with whatever you decide on, i dont drive but im lucky i have 2 pre-schools on my doorstep, luv jue xx

I think trying to find another parent who may be in the area woul be my first point of cal before using the taxi, but thats just me. I think if they're crb checked and used to doing this sort of thing then it should be ok though. Its up to you hun, and your dp and lo.

That is such a hard one and the end of the day only you can make the choice, im not sure i would be able to do it but i think im too over protective. Im sure if all of the checks have been done and the nursery are willing to meet him at the other end it will be fine, maybe for the 1st couple of times you could go to just make sure he knows whats going on and feels safe and it will make you feel better. good luck with whatever you decide xxx
