I haven't bothered with sterilising bowls and spoons because by the time I was weaning Ollie he was eating carpet, dog and anything else that fell into his grubby little mitts.  But like everyone else has said officially it is 6mnths old and 1yr for bottles and teats, although I carried on sterilising bottles and teats the whole time Hayley and Fran used them as I always worry about milk stuff going off.

Yeah, I'm bothered that the milk would be an ideal breading ground for all kinds of nasties!

I think I'm gonna stop now with the bowls...

MumSam - I have this great Image in my head of Ollie going for your dog with his mouth open!!
